This is Scoobie Doobie Doo also known as Doo. He was our oldest cat at 21 years old. He was pronounced in excellent health by the vet about 6 months before his death. He had no illnesses or diseases other than old age. He was such a little doobie, we named him that!

Doo was rescued from a factory when his eyes weren't even open yet. The rescuer always felt that the mommy cat picked them and brought Doo to them. The Mother cat was never seen again after leaving Doo in a life threatening place right before my room mate's eyes. He was raised on a bottle. He was totally raised by humans, so of course knew he was a human (I don't doubt it). He was a very vain cat. If you look closely, you can see he had a permanent wave across the top of his head. He was very appreciative of you telling him how handsome he was. Don't think for a minute he didn't understand! If you said he was ugly, he'd hiss at you. If you said he's handsome, he stood proudly erect.

The rule at our house for many, many years was whatever Doo wants/needs Doo got! He absolutely ruled the roost! We miss his rule very, very much.
