This page is dedicated to my beautiful baby boys. A good friend of mine called and said there was a cat passed out on her porch, could I take her. We met at my vet's. Upon examination, she was pronounced in good overall health, although undernourished. I got her vaccinations and took her home. After she had time to get over her vaccinations and had been fattened up, I took her to the vet to be spayed. She was smuggling babies. Apparently, when my friend found her passed out on the porch it was from fatigue because all our cats are neutered or spayed. I had never had kittens born in a good setting. All my pets had suffered abuse in some fashion. I had originally planned on finding homes for them, but quickly figured out that no home would be good enough except mine.
They are currently 9 years old and all of them weigh in at around 19 lbs (except Calvin, the runt, at 17). They are the love of my life. (No favoritism intended.) You can really tell dealing with these sweet, loving, and trustful guys what a difference being born into a loving environment has made. These boys have never known anything but love and respect. They are all terribly spoiled and if I could figure out how, I'd spoil them more!
